Abruzzi Catering Co. caters superior events at the company’s two facilities, or at a location of your choice. The company’s facilities are made available for a four-hour period, with additional time available at $50 per hour.

The Plaza View Room occupies the third floor of Jacoby’s Storehouse and, as its name implies, overlooks a cultural and historic center, the Arcata Plaza. The room’s maximum capacity is 120 guests, and the event sales minimum for this facility is $750.

The Plaza Annex, also located in the historic Jacoby Storehouse, is a good choice for smaller gatherings. It has a maximum capacity of 80 guests and requires an event sales minimum of only $500.

Clients may prefer a different location, or Abruzzi Catering Co. can design an event that will comfortably fit into a client’s life and home. Regardless of the premises, the same complete range of catering and bar services is offered. For a full-service event, the off-premise fee is $150. If only delivery and pick-up services are required, that fee is reduced to $50.

Abruzzi Catering Co.’s full range of catering services includes hosted and no-host bar services, available at both on-premise and off-premise locations. A bar setup fee is charged to cover the cost of the bartender and required insurance and alcohol permits for the event. The company works with each client to determine the level of bar products that should be purchased for the event. For hosted bar service, a bar sales minimum is set according to the number of guests expected to attend the event. If actual sales are less than the established sales minimum, the client pays the difference.

event service

Abruzzi Catering Co.’s catering services also include event service at both on-premise and off-premise locations. A fee is charged to cover the costs of banquet room setup and cleanup, service staff and required license and insurance permits for the event. The company works with each client to determine the number of servers that should be staffed for the event based on the number of guests expected to attend the event and the level of service required.

The wedding day is among the most important in a couple’s life, and it is the mission of Abruzzi Catering Co. to make every wedding a seamless and elegant affair that the bride and groom will remember for the rest of their lives. To ensure the day is as special as it should be, the company allows considerably more preparation time and provides additional staff to assist the wedding party and make every dream come true. The price of this required service is $250.

No two catering events are exactly the same—nor should they be.  The company offers a range of additional services to allow each client to tailor the event to his or her own specifications. The list below is by no means exhaustive, and our services are limited only by a client’s needs and imagination. Prices vary, depending upon number of guests and other factors. Bar services

Abruzzi Catering Co.’s full range of catering services includes hosted and no-host bar services at one of the company’s two facilities, or at a location of your choice.

The required insurance and alcohol permits are provided free of charge to the client at both of the company’s facilities. An on-premise setup fee is charged to cover the cost of the bartender for the duration of the event.

For off-site catering events, a bar setup fee is charged to cover the cost of the bartender, as well as the additional costs of required insurance and alcohol permits, which the company provides for the client.*

The company works with each client to determine which level of bar products should be purchased for the event. For hosted bar service, a bar sales minimum is set according to the number of guests expected to attend the event. If actual sales are less than the established sales minimum, the client pays the difference.

Non-alcoholic Beverages and Beer
All bars include an assortment of sodas, juice and bottled water ($1). A selection of microbrews ($4), imports ($4) and domestic beer ($3) is also made available.

Please note: Plastic cups will be provided for use at all off-premise events unless otherwise requested. Glassware is available for an additional charge. Ask us for more details.

*On occasion, supplementary permits and insurance policies may be required when bar services are provided at off-premise locations. In such cases, Abruzzi Catering Co. will obtain the necessary authorizations, and any and all associated charges will be billed to the client.
